Creating an Access Database
A "database" can be described as a large amount of information stored in one place.  Databases allow us to not only store information, but to easily manipulate it as well as extract specific parts of the information.

"Microsoft Access" is a database management program that is included as a part of Microsoft Office.  Each version of Access has different features.  This tutorial will use Microsoft Access version 2002, but the steps you will complete here will work with any other version.
